Erin Kershisnik
MD
Dr. Erin Kershisnik is a board certified Family Physician who has lived in the Olympia area with her husband and two daughters for over 20 years. She graduated from Seattle Pacific University and then traveled to Philadelphia for her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Eager to return to her home state, she completed her residency in Family Medicine at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. She is proud of the broad spectrum of care her specialty provides and is committed to her vision of patient-centered health care. She enjoys the way her practice allows her to collaborate with her patients to meet their goals for healthy living. Her caring and compassionate nature offers her elder and hospice patients the level of care and understanding they deserve. In addition to practicing medicine, her other interests include helping her daughters launch into adulthood, training Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, singing with the Olympia Choral Society, and figuring out new and creative ways to keep the deer out of her garden!
Jennifer Vazquez-Bryan
MD, MPH
Dr. Jennifer Vazquez-Bryan is a board certified Family Physician who relocated from New York to join Vantage Physicians in 2019. She earned her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, NJ and traveled to Washington to complete her residency in Seattle at Swedish Family Medicine. Prior to joining Vantage, she opened her own Direct Primary Care Practice and is quite familiar with the model of care. Dr. Vazquez-Bryan enjoys the way DPC allows her to really get to know her patients and be there for them. It brings her great joy knowing that people trust her with their health and that she is able to develop a relationship and work with them as a team, leading them to improved health and happiness. When not taking care of patients, she enjoys travelling, running, swimming, and spending time with her husband and three young sons.
Marla Calvert
MD
Marla Calvert is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician who was born and raised in Olympia, Washington. Dr Calvert completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Cruz and attended medical school at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. She completed her residency training at Swedish First Hill Hospital in Seattle before moving back to Olympia to practice in her hometown. Dr Calvert has specific interest and expertise in healthcare worker wellbeing, addiction medicine, and is currently pursuing an additional board certification in Obesity Medicine. She has also completed training as a professional coach through the Neuroleadership Institute and enjoys translating the science of motivation and habit change into concrete strategies that support optimal health. Dr Calvert is committed to listening well, lifelong learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration that supports her patients. Outside of work she can be found running laps around Watershed Park, raising two daughters and a chocolate Labrador, and enjoying outdoor adventures in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Natalie Arriola
Office Manager
Natalie was born and raised in Texas and is fluent in Spanish. She brought over 10 years of administrative and management experience when she joined Vantage Physicians in 2023. As our Office Manager she has a hand in most front office activities, focusing on day-to-day operations. If you have any questions about billing or membership she has the answers. When she is not hard at work for our patients, she enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time with her husband and their 3 dogs.
Yaritza Matos-Martinez
Medical Assistant
Yaritza draws labs, performs EKGs and ear lavages, administers vaccinations, helps the providers with procedures as needed, and works with your insurance company to ensure your medications are covered. She joined Vantage Physicians in 2020 with over 10 years of medical office experience. She was born in Puerto Rico and speaks fluid Spanish. Yaritza has traveled all around the United States, moving to Washington with her boyfriend in 2019. Together they enjoy exploring the great outdoors and have become avid cyclists.
Ryan Strosnider
Medical Assistant
Born and raised in Winchester, Virginia, Ryan moved to Olympia in February 2024. Ryan has both clinical and front office duties not only doing blood draws, administering vaccinations and assisting the providers with procedures, but also answering incoming calls and going to bat with insurance companies for medication approvals for all of our patients. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games, hiking, playing with his dog, and watching movies. As a new resident of the PNW, Ryan is always on the lookout for new restaurants to try.
